FS 2100 G

The Benefits of Fuel System Service

This periodic and curative service restores engine performance to gasoline vehicles by removing dirt, carbon deposits, gums, andvarnishes from fuel, exhaust and air intake systems on gasoline engines — fuel injected or carbureted. Built-in diagnostic capabilities enable a technician to check individual injectors, andcheck fuel pressure, fuel volume and system leak down (internal pressure loss), regulator opening and closing pressures.

Advantages:

  1. All Heavy duty metal stand with large drawers (Not cheap plastic with useless drawers)
  2. All low cost mechanical switches. ( No expensive one touch keypad)
  3. No expensive special PC board to replace like on the MotorVac
  4. 3 micron filter to keep dirt out. (MotorVac has a 15 micron filter which filters out not much of anything)
  5. Orginal blend of soap which works. (Unlike the new blend of MotorVac soap which is high content of water)
  6. Special intake Sprayer that hooks onto the machine. (Can be used with our MotorVac machines)

How It Works

Think of the FS 2100 G service as a kind of Kidney dialysis machine for your engine. It cleans the entire fuel intake system—the air plenum, throttle body, air bypass valve, injectors, ports, valves, combustion chambers, oxygen sensors and catalytic sensors — without having to remove engine components. This service helpsrestore engine performance, improve fuel economy and drivability, and reduces exhaust emissions.

The Fuel system cleaning cycle consists of 4 phases: 1) Connectingto the vehicle; 2) Cycling solution; 3) Filtering the residuals; and 4)Running the engine at idle. On most vehicles the entire process iscompleted within 45 minutes.

During the first phase (engine off) the FS 2100 G machine isconnected to the vehicle’s fuel system inlet and return lines withvehicle specific adapters. The fuel supply from the engine’s fuel tank is bypassed and is replaced with the fuel/solvent tank located inside the FS 2100 G machine. With the engine off, cleaning solution FSC-G is pumped through the engine’s fuel system. Contaminants in the fuel rail and injector screens are dissolved and captured by a 3-micron spin on filter in the FS 2100 G machine.Once this pre-cleaning cycle is completed, the engine is started and run at idle. The mixture of FSC-G cleaning solution and gas is now run through the injectors and goes through the complete combustion process. Carbon and other contaminants in the injectornozzles, on the intake valves, in the combustion chamber, on theO2 sensor and in the catalytic converter are removed and exit through the exhaust system.

Depending on engine size, design, and level of contamination (mileage), approximately 1 ounce of FSC-G solution is used per cylinder during the cleaning process. FSC-G is a powerful fuel detergent that is safe for all automotive applications. It has noadverse effect on engine seals or gaskets. MSDS sheets are enclosed with shipping documents and may be obtained on request.

Recommended Service Interval

A fuel system service is recommended yearly or every 24,000 miles. Also service when your vehicle has any of the following symptoms: hard starting, lack of power, rough idle, enginestumble, poor acceleration, engine ping, and increased fuel consumption. If your vehicle failed an emissions test for excessive exhaust emissions, a fuel system cleaning is also recommended.

Diagnostic & Service Capabilities

  • Pressure check of the fuel system
  • Pump output pressure check
  • Pressure regulator opening and closing pressure
  • Pressure regulator leak-by
  • The included S-Sprayer allows for cleaning of the entire air intake system including throttle body, intake manifold, intake valves, idle air control and EGR system.
